Are all plastics recyclable? They are identified by a number on the package surrounded by a recycling symbol - made up of 3 arrows in a . I've seen numbers 2, 3, 5 and 7. Can I throw all of these together?
To answer your question simply, no, not all plastics are recyclable, even if they have the triangle around it. Not all plastic products are produced in South Africa. This is an issue as a plastic item might be recyclable in the country where it was produced, but not in our country.
